Guess they couldn't give the CoY to the guy with the MVP on his team.

Don't see Derek Fisher's name on the vote getters.  Weird.  I thought he was supposed to be better than Steve Kerr.

I don't see a problem until GSW, they won more but not a huge amount over last season, they also have a lot more top talent. I think it should go to coaches who have a big turnaround and/or who does more with less talent. GSW didn't seem far away from this type of natural improvement. I guess you can say their defense but is that Kerr or our poached Ron Adams?  ;D

Oh well, congrats to all!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

List looks pretty good.  I think I'd jump Doc up about three spots... slot him in right beneath McHale.  That may be an unpopular opinion to some on this site, but he's done a very good job with that Clippers group this season.  They look like a legitimate dangerous team.

Aside from that, nothing to gripe about really.

Doc got a lot of criticism around here, especially his last two seasons.  Much of it was justified.  But he did a very good job with this Clippers team navigating through injuries during the middle part of the year.  They picked up their collective play to keep afloat during the injuries, and then maintained that level when they were healthy, finishing tied for the second best record in the conference.

If I were a voter, I might have trolled the Kings by giving Mike Malone a 3rd place vote.

Budenholzer certainly deserves the award but I think Stevens did more with less.  I though Kidd did a nice job in MIL too.

Seems about right. I'd say Stevens was coach of the post-allstar-break.

Yeah, Doc did pretty well in navigating the season while being dragged down by an idiot GM making stupid roster decisions.

That's interesting that the top four coaches are either rookie or second-year head coaches. It's even more interesting that the third and fourth place coaches were coaches of the sixth and seventh seeds of the playoffs, both with less-than-stellar levels of talent on their rosters.

I can't get over the fact that Kidd made it to the top 3 in this vote.  :-\

Why?  I don't like Kidd very much but it's basically the same roster that won 15 games last year.
