Oh my, what a lead pass by Griffin in mid-air to DeAndre Jordan rolling to the basket. Wow.

Big Baby! With the charge on Harden! Love it.

Oh man, JJ Redick nailed a three pointer like Terry wasn't even there. Jason Terry just too small to bother JJ Redick on that shot. He was right in his face. Didn't matter.

Man, the Rockets clearly only want to outscore you.  No real interest in playing defense, which is surprising on a team with Dwight Howard in the middle.  What a fraudulent team.

If the clips are better without Paul, how about this:

AB, Bass, Turner, Wallace, two 2015 firsts & one future Bkl pick
for
Paul, Hawes & Udoh

They're the classic definition of a pretender. I never bought them.

Think about what you just said there.  You're sounding pretty silly.  The Clippers are playing a team that has no interest in playing defense.  And it's actually not uncommon for a team to still play well for a few games without one of their star players.  It's really after 10-12 games that it would probably catch up to them.  They are not, and will never be a better team without Chris Paul

Dwight Howard just picked up his 4th defending Blake Griffin. Harden already on the bench with 4. It looks like McHale is keeping Dwight into the game. I think that is a good call. Dwight can defend DeAndre Jordan easily enough without much risk of picking up a 5th foul.

Haha - DeAndre Jordan catches the ball at the top of the key. Dwight Howard stays maybe 20 feet back on D.Jordan. DeAndre standing on the three point line. Dwight Howard about 6 feet away from the basket in the middle of the paint touching a 2nd Clippers player who is down on the right block. DeAndre with 17-18 feet of real estate between him and the guy guarding him.

It is amazing to see someone jump higher than Dwight Howard and beat him to the rebound.

Incredible display of athleticism from DeAndre Jordan.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He's everything we need down low: toughness, athleticism, rebounding, rim protection. His offense isn't on the level of his defense by any means, but I can't imagine anyone really having a problem giving this guy a max contract on our team, especially given the context of the rising cap and the probable elimination or lessening of the Hack-a-Jordan technique.

These clearouts for Blake Griffin are terrible. Too much standing around. No movement. No cutting. Making it too easy for Houston to send a 2nd defender over without taking them out of their defensive shape.

Forcing Griffin into low percentage shots.

The Rockets are getting utterly exposed by the Clips here.

Phenomenal performances by Griffin and Deandre.

Is Paul just superfluous in this series because Houston has no legitimate point guards on the roster, or do Griffin and Deandre just make Paul look as good as he does these days?

Doc's not going to let him go after this playoff run.

As a fan of a team with no stars, I can't feel sorry for Rockets fans.  But it has to be frustrating to see your team built around two stars that are good enough to dominate much of the regular season, but then come up looking like frauds in the post-season.

Dwight's doing alright in this game.  But man, for a guy who had a strong case for the MVP, Harden just can't seem to get it going against playoff defense.

Terrence Jones does a nice job protecting the basket at that center position. Good shot-blocker.
