Clippers falling apart. I'd LOVE to see that team blown up over the summer.

This would be a big time win for San Antonio. Very impressive performance from them.

The Spurs just have a habit of making the game look easy.  Only a casual fan could ever call them a boring team.

People are always so quick to criticize. He was fine in the first 2 games. Game 1 he was amazing.

So as of now, the Clips are on the books for $56M for next year, leaving them roughly $10M for free agents. They could get down to around $46M by cutting Crawford and Barnes with their team options next year, though that seems unlikely. This also isn't accounting for DJ being a free agent and presumably wanting something near the max this summer. They also have virtually no trade assets that aren't core pieces.

This team really doesn't have any good avenue at improving their team much, and resigning DJ will really hamper them even more. Hopefully they look for a cheaper option and let DJ walk. Unfortunately, GM Doc has wood for DJ, and he'll probably give him the max. They're extremely top heavy in salary, and it's killing their flexibility and maneuverability.

Yes but when there is historical precedent, it's easier to jump to conclusions. Paul has been visibly frustrated these past two games.

It's not really even true that he is bad in the playoffs. Just another media myth. The kind of stuff Skip Bayless would say.

Thanks for comparing me to Skip Bayless  :P

I get what you're saying- I've actually argued the very point you're trying to make many times before. Paul's playoff stats are actually very respectable, historically. He's, statistically, playing his best ever this series. But Paul just cannot carry his team. He's physically incapable, being 5'11" and all. He simply cannot affect the game in as many areas as he needs to. Paul has never been past the second round, even with stacked teams. Maybe me saying he's AWOL was a tad hyperbolic, but he's not the guy to carry his team to the promised land.

I think I crossed the line with the Skip Bayless part. I apologize. I would not really worry about when he was on New Orleans though. And it feels like LA Clippers have always been knocked out by good opponents. I get what you are saying though.

He's visibly and audibly frustrated at the 1:01 mark of this clip. Pretty funny considering he's most at fault for Mills having the cherry-picker layup.
