I miss playoff Rondo..

Man, it would have to be so frustrating to coach him knowing his potential greatness (playoff Rondo) when he only plays like that 1/3 to 1/2 of the time. And it's seemingly an effort/motivation thing rather than him just having some big nights every now and then.

Rondo looks fazed out there.

Def not the Rondo of 2012

Hey, he hit a jumper! :) Honestly, if Dallas can't find a way to use him properly, then shame on them, imo.  TP for starting the thread, btw, as I notice that you don't have nearly enough of them (TPs). :)

Hahah, no problem! Just taking the initiative in starting a playoff game thread for us fellow Celtics fans here! And thank you for the TP kind sir!  ;D

You know, the way that people are just needlessly handing out Tommy Points, it's almost like they really have no value (sarcasm).  And here I thought that we had something special (sarcasm), ahaha. ;D

I wonder how many more points Paul George would score if he played with Rondo.  Hmm...

Ugh ... what a stupid stupid foul by Dwight Howard. Back to the bench for Howard.

Do not understand Dallas going zone when Houston have Terry, Harden and Ariza on the floor.

I really like Capela. I think he is going to be a really nice player 2-3 years down the line.

Very good combination of athleticism, physical size and disposition to play defense and rebound.

I definitely wanted Ainge to select him rather than James Young.

I think Dallas are going to get swept.

Their core 5 just doesn't fit together nearly as well as they hoped, and the bench depth is poor.

If I'm Dallas I'm fouling Capela every time down the court. 17% shooter?!?! Take Houston out of their offense.

Yeah, I think he started the season 0-14.

I was really glad to see Rose and the Bulls play so well.  Far fetched, but this Bulls team making a surprise run to the Finals would be pretty awesome.

Their core 5 just doesn't fit together nearly as well as they hoped, and the bench depth is poor.

I think it's mostly Monta and Rondo.  The Parsons/Dirk/Chandler trio fits just fine.  But those guards can't co-exist IMO, and Ellis is better than this version of Rondo.

They'd be better off with an off-ball PG who can guard the position and knock a jumper down.  Doesn't have to be a star - a guy like Chalmers would seem to fit.

Agree that their bench sucks.  It's Amare and that's about it.

These last few games Monta hasn't been so hot, he was looking more like Milwaukee Monta, while Rondo was starting to gel. I just don't think the Mavs can hang with the upper echelon teams in the West unless they're shooting you off the court.
