Pelican's still in it despite their disorganized and terrible play throughout.

Why didn't Dwayne Casey play James Johnson? IMO he could've shut down Paul.

Yeah, I've always liked James Johnson.

Not playing James Johnson was stupid.

Toronto had no business starting Tyler Hansbrough in place of Amir Johnson either, though. Do not understand what the coach was thinking.

And Washington wasn't any better with their rotations either. Why on earth is Drew  Gooden playing in the playoffs. Kri sHumphreys is a million times better than him. Your big man rotation, if you are Washington, should be Gortat/Nene/Humphries and maybe small doses of Pierce as a small ball PF. Keep Gooden and Seraphin on the bench where they belong. Washington's coach is just as terrible.

How do coaches this bad keep their jobs?

All of this is dead on.  Hump and Seraphin over Gooden ALL DAY.  Also Amir Johnson's confidence looked damaged, he missed some very makeable shots.

So Amir Johnson was their leading scorer, going 8-12 from the floor, and your takeaway is that Johnson's confidence is damaged because he missed some makeable shots?

That wasn't my takeaway from his game..........

All I said was he missed some very makeable shots.

I wasn't saying his confidence is damaged and the reason is because he missed some shots.  I was saying he missed some makeable shots and maybe the reason was confidence.  How the hell do I know whether or not his confidence was damaged?  It was simple speculation, not fact-reporting.

So I guess that was my takeaway from his missing makeable shots, but obviously not from his entire game like you're saying......

It's sad to me that Williams and Crawford are in the discussion for 6th man, but not Iguodala.  Give me a consistent facilitator and elite defender over inconsistent shooters anyday.

Also, I'm pretty sure Speight's scoring rate is much higher than those 2 guys, with better efficiency to boot.

Throw in my binky Barbosa, and I think they're easily the best bench in the league.

I don't have a lot of a confidence in this Chicago team. They make hard work of simple tasks. I think this series against Milwaukee will be harder than it should be given the talent disparity of the two sides.

Rose has been making some hard cuts out there. He looks like the old Rose so far.

I'm easily throwing the max at Butler this offseason, though I don't think I'd be disappointed with nabbing Middleton either.

Funniest part of the night so far was the announcer comparing Rose's explosiveness to Westbrook's when it was the other way around last time Rose was fully healthy (what four years now?).

I can't remember when Rose was the MVP but it feels like forever ago.

Butler looks legit, unfortunately I dont see him going anywhere. Middleton could be had but IDK why.

the Bucks could easily go Middleton Parker GA at the 2-4 that is ferocious

I would add MCW to that unit. He's got some potential. Just needs to learn the bucks system cause right now, he seems like he keeps getting out of position.

Rajon Rondo hasn't played a playoff game since 2012, just like Rose.

Except, Rondo posted up a few triple-doubles here and there. We'll see how far he stands tonight!

A number of amusing tidbits from what I've seen today -

- during the Wizards-Raptors game, the play-by-play guy spoke of how great of a job Brad Stevens has done when the add for tomorrow's game popped up, only for Doris Burke to reply, "yeah, great job, BUT I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THE PLAYOFF DEBUT OF KYRIE IRVING AND KEVIN LOVE TOMORROW!" ::) Sigh.  Typical.  I also enjoyed when she called WNBA players 'ballers' ::), and, is it just me, or is it extremely odd and uncomfortable to hear a female announcer describe someone attacking the basket by saying 'so-and-so attacked the rack'?  Ahaha. ;D She's always been terrible, imo.  First during women's college basketball and WNBA games, and she's only gotten worse since she's become a fixture on national broadcasts of NBA contests.  How ironic that her initials are DB, lol. ;) ;D What a tool.

- Paul.  Pierce.  That is all, haha. ;D I wonder if he misses playing with Rondo, because Wall was completely selfish and played out of control, not to mention his atrocious shooting, and Beal was even worse.  What a potent backcourt (sarcasm). ;D

- The male commentator during the same game always calling Bradley Beal, 'Brad'.  Idk what that was all about, lol. ;D

- During the GSW-Pelicans game, how Momma there goes that man ::), Breen, and Notorious JVG ;) ;D seemingly spent close to five minutes talking about how great Steph Curry's family is. ::) When does that crew not go off on a meaningless tangent?  Christ, lol. ;D

- The Bulls are thugs who have always gotten away with murder.  Why they're never called for half of the fouls that they commit is beyond me, but then again, Chicago is a big market, so that makes such behavior perfectly acceptable (sarcasm). ::)
