Everyone has their opinions. I'm a Portis guy all the way.

That is true, everyone has their opinions and most draft boards have him mid first round.   Aren't you concerned with how soft he plays?   The guy will literally wait for the game to come to him, and does not assert himself.  I watched a few of his games, he has the NBA body some skills but I really question his heart or will to dominate.

He did seem to differ or drift out but he is a team guy and that seemed to be the game plan to open up driving. I blame the coach and Qualls as well for too many bad shots and poor game planing. He isn't refined enough yet to be a stretch four (but he could be after developing his shot) which is why tourney shooting was poor. The setup of the team overall still managed an OK season. He did well at least rebounding and that often shows a guys willingness to fight. Don't know where you see him being soft honestly.
