So on the last day of the nba season, 1 mvp candidate got a trip doub and the second seed in the west, another played a fine game and got a playoff spot, another got the scoring crown but lost the 8 seed, and the fourth rested on Fan Appreciation night in his hometown. And one is still playing, and could very well sit out his 19th complete 4q of the season since his team blows out people frequently.

Who's the mvp?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Either Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, or, as much as I hate to say it, James Harden. I think Westbrook is out of the running due to the Thunder missing the playoffs.

It's been Steph's award since mid-March.

For me it's James Harden. He singlehandedly carried the Rockets for most of the season with Howard out and they ended up with the 2nd seed in a crazy competitive Western Conference. It has been an amazing season for him...

It has to be either Ashton Kutcher or Demarre Carroll - it just has to be (sarcasm). ;D

Would like to see Anthony Davis, especially since they're in the Playoffs but the media has been all over Curry and Harden.

Both of them are deserving but now I'd prefer Curry getting it solely because he didn't mouth off in public that he was the MVP. I like my players a bit more humble.

Stephen the Cyborg.  Top 5 player in the league in any year and the best player on by far the best team this season.

+1. Steph is great but what Harden has done is almost unbelievable.

The problem with this award is I am not sure how it's defined any more. The most VALUABLE player is LeBron. Without LBJ the Cavs are a lottery team (as we saw). If MVP is defined as most valuable to your team is has to be him, but if it's best statistical year it goes to Harden/Curry.

Personally, I'd love to see the both of them get Co-MVP.

For me it's a Curry and Davis race. Davis had been mainly discarded from the media because perceived as a non-playoff team, but that no longer holds true.

That said, Curry has been remarkable.

I think Curry will win but I think Harden deserves it, even though I like Curry a lot better as a player.

Curry has substantially better teammates to begin with and many of the guys Harden did have had significant injury issues (Howard, T Jones, Beverly, Motiejunas now, probably missing some).  To lead that team to the 2 seed with a decimated front court and a hole at PG is a more remarkable achievement than what Curry did in GS in my opinion.

If I had to predict the top 5 (actual votes, not what I want), I think I expect it to go:

Curry
Harden
Westbrook
LeBron
A Davis

EDIT: Switched LeBron/Westbrook
