Utah Flash Assets Status
(Friday July 24th, 2015)

After substantial roster churn the past two offseasons, the Utah Flash's H2H league franchise will only make one or perhaps two roster changes going into the upcoming season. We are interested in a young PG or good first round draft pick. We are willing to move a combination of the assets outline below.

Cody Zeller - The 22 y/o starting PF for the Hornets is entering his 3d season, which is normally the season where bigmen to blossom.

Tim Hardaway, Jr. - Timmy had a "down" sophomore season with the disastrous 17 win Knicks and still averaged 11.5pts & 1.7 3ptm. He's now with an organization who develop players into an offensive system where DeMarre Carroll looks like an All Star.

Mike Muscala - Moose is a personal pet project, who has TWW seal of approval. He's a 7 foot PF/C who can hit 3ptrs. His PER last season was an astonishing 18.

Jordan McRae - After killing it in last year's summer league and over the winter in the NBL, McRae was disappointing this summer,. His play during summer league was just eh. If u want to take a flier on him, let me know. Given the volatility of the Sixers and the fact that Jordan has game, he may just be the opening day starting SG for Phili.

Nah, nothing like that. I am just putting a stop to the churn, to let some of my young guys develop. Obviously, I a guy like Vonleh is a WIP and not near the value/production of some of your available players, D12, Teague, Noah, Jax, etc...

The only tweak/solution to the future firsts thing might be to move our Rookie Draft up from mid-September to mid-August. This would allow for (a) 2016 picks to be dealt a little sooner and (b) allow for more time post-draft for teams to trade in advance of the early Oct. cutdown date:

July 1-20 --- IRL free agency and summer league

mid-Aug --- Our rookie draft

mid Aug / Sept. / mid Oct -- about 2 months to make trades before the cutdown date.

This would require amending the constitution though.

As I've failed to get any trade talk going. I've turned my attention to the upcoming constitutional convention. I like the idea of moving the draft up. Seconded.

The GC's Yahoo! H2H League 2015 Constitutional Convention is now a thing. woot!
