I would also give them the 2016 Brooklyn pick and the 2018 Brooklyn pick

I imagine they would go for the magic offer of vuevic and the 5th pick in the draft. If I were the magic I would not offer it because vuevic is signed to a longer cheaper deal and the 5th pick in this draft is really really good. Kinda wish we had it. comment below what would your final offer of cousins be
zach lavine-jeremy lin-tyus jones
jeremy lamb-tyshen prince-Andre miller
will barton- beljina-
Kevin love-kevin garnet-payne
Karl anthoney Towns-JJ hickson

I can understand if you think the Knicks and Lakers will overpay for him, but do you really think we couldn't outbid them if we tried?

A poignant hashtag in light of your username, to be sure.

Trade isn't loading for me, Hawkeye. What is it?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

If either team lands a top 2 pick, no.

We saw it last year with the Kevin Love fiasco. No matter how many picks you put together, it won't equal a top 2 pick. Even if you throw Smart and Young in there.

I may had over done it with the hashtag.   :D

Also, I have moved on from Rondo but I already hit the limit for changing screen names on here. Woops.

Zero.  This guy is a head case and will be a cancer on this team.  Can't believe how many people are so intrigued by this guy that they are willing to sell the farm for him.

I'm glad you're not the onecalling the shots.  Any GM would be insane not to salivate at the thought of Cousins acquisition.  Your reasons for not wanting him is only a noise.  You could make the same claim for Rondo or KG.

Very glad your not calling the shots either. Did IT and Cousins work in Sac?

Why does cbs need to deal with a volatile personality like cousins? We have something good going on now

because Boston doesn't have a franchise building player on the roster.  because Cousins will be by far the best player on Boston.  because 24/13/4/1.5/1.5 players don't grow on trees, especially ones that are still just 24 and locked up long term.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don't see the Lakers being in play for him, but I highly suspect that Phil would much rather trade their high pick this year than get a Towns or Okafor. By the time their pick would be ready to truly contribute and be reliable, Melo will be too old. I guess it would depend upon how much Sacramento wants that pick, because NY basically has nothing outside of that in terms of assets to trade for him. Even with that high pick, our pure number of good assets could be comparable to their package.

Plus, I would think Boogie would rather come to Boston the playoff team with a player's coach in Stevens rather than the last place Knicks. He doesn't seem to be the type of guy who really strives to play in a huge market like NY.

From Bill Herenda of CSNBayArea.com:

“I think we can make a big step next year. As an organization, we have to be aware of what if? What if we get offered (a good trade)? What if? That’s Pete and Vlade’s (Divac) area of expertise.” …

“I’ve had some great players and I’ve never had one player that I have said is untradeable,” Karl added. “You always got to be ready for the possibility of a great trade that could come your way.”

Celtics have little to offer anyways

No top 10 pick. No high end young player

Cousins can go to the lakers , get his azz kicked by Kobe or

Go to the knicks and have issues with melo

You're a couple of years late with this.  Cousins has matured, like a lot of people do in their 20s.
