Anyone care about the game today?

Sometimes it is pretty surprising for me how little talk there is about the actual celtics team. Today I couldn't find a thread on the front board referencing that we even have a game today or are in the middle of the playoff race. It is also focused on trading hypothetical draft picks, college teams or potential free agent moves. Does anyone forget how boring and long the offseason is?

Is this team so miserable we dont want to discuss their games?

Today I think LA is a really bad matchup for us with Blake back. Along with Memphis, Blake and Jordan are one of the more interior inclined frontcourt duos in the NBA. Interesting to see Smart defend Paul. Hopefully since the game is in Boston we don't see Paul get lots of bogus calls. Lets go C's!

There's only so many ways to say "they played hard but came up short on talent" before it gets old.

I follow a lot of team's forums for other sports and colleges. I get the appeal of discussing trades, but this board seems to be going in an extreme direction for it. We are technically holding a playoff spot and are playing our ex coach in a few hours and everyone is posting about girls, hearing sounds in nature and wrestlemania. Not ragging on any of those topics, but its just very unusual and strange to see.

besides, we are so spoiled by those fabulous game threads FLC creates for cb. now, i sort of expect them to let me know when a game is coming up.

am i lazy? obviously. but those game threads are special. and during those, i think a lot of posters get to vent their emotions during the game, as opposed to before.

Poor coaching job by pitino today

Harell on 3 occassions had a smaller guy guarding him.  Was never fed the ball. Yeah he struggled but you need a little more trust

MS has a very small chance to beat Gonzaga or Duke next

I'm at the game right now. Once I'm done figuring who around me has the potential to pull out a knife during the game (Anyone wearing a Rondo jersey is a prime candidate), I'll start looking at the game itself and the matchups.

You mean we are gonna face our old coach today and most likely get decimated and the pro-tanking people come out and scream "TANK BABY TANK!!" yeah the same 'ol same 'ol.

Or watch the Celtics blow some 20-point 4th quarter lead which is pretty much described throughout the whole season? It's always here no worries!

I think I feel better seeing other posts and topics unrelated to tonight's game but that's just me.

Even though it's against a vastly superior team, I've been waiting all day for this. There's only so much laundry and writing one can do to waste time before Celtics basketball
