I know the C's have needs in many areas. But none more than the area of size, and length at the center position.

Zeller is nothing more than fair, but after him, it gets really thin. Kelly Olynyk should never have to play backup center ever again. He just does not have the mind set for it. Unfortunately we just don't have a single body to replace him.

Honestly I'm wondering who we're fooling by thinking of playoffs. I don't want to loose faith, but maybe we should put our hopes on the roll of the draft dice.

Really bugs me to see guys like KO and Gigi do a no show until the C's are down 30 and then start playing like there's a game going on.  Really hope someone on this site doesn't look at the stat line and think KO or Gigi played well cause they sucked until the game was way out of reach and then showed up

Every player not named IT pretty much got theirs when the game was out of reach.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

agreed. i have long believed this team would benefit more from a #9-12 (and trade up) than from a first round whipping and bounce in the playoffs.

but, as powerful and all mighty as we cb posters in controlling the nba universe, this one may be out of our hands.  ;)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, I'm gonna agree here. Smart looks troubled and frustrated. Since that suspension he looks beat down. I don't know anything about family issues, but anything is possible.

Maybe they just aren't very good and can't to anything until the Clips take the foot off the gas..

Yup, pretty much. I think at one point Smart, Olynyk and Datome had played a combined 30+ minutes and none had even scored. Just a horrid showing for just about anyone except IT.

There's a certain thread about Marcus Smart that's going to be bumped soon...

Thanks for reminding me.

Tank has a connotation of loose on purpose, to move up in the draft. For me develop young players at the cost of winning is more like it.

if your thinking of Smart as a PG, then let him act as a PG. Don't shield and protect him with Turner being the primary ball handler on offense. See if Smart has potential to be a point or not.

Develop Young, let him learn by playing minutes.

The first 42 minutes of that game were like trying to watch a game in a hot car with the windows rolled up.

If James Young has proven anything this year it's he is not ready to play. NBA basketball at this time. Force feeding him minutes would be the definition of tanking.
