I fear it will be a close game , and we will need some type of run to separate ourselves, but this is the type of game you do not lose.

It would be ideal, however unlikely, for the Celtics to win 90% or more of their remaining games, unless the Pacers continue to flounder, in order to make the playoffs. Lot of pressure losing that tie-breaker opportunity with Miami.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

I think NY can't afford to win and give hope to Philly to be in the last spot.
Boston after a bad game, always has some kind of ego going on. I predict a very nice win for Boston.

I think you are right about the win tonight.

As for the teams' attitude about being last in the league, I just don't understand it.  Since 1985, the team that has finished worst (or tied for worst) has won the lottery four times.  The team that has finished second-worst has won it four times.  And the team that has finished third-worst has won it...seven times.  And while I do recognize that the math has changed over the years, the numbers still tell you that having the first pick in the lottery is so much better than the second or third that it's worth designing a team to lose.

"Couldn't lose" the Miami game either, but we did.

Everyone has us circled as a team they can beat, LA did, all teams do.   Sometimes we rise above and sometimes we play to our talent level.

This team could lose to anyone at anytime.

As opposed to every other team?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
