Thank you Wizards!

And, hey, with this group a win is a win is a win. Now only if Brooklyn lost!

This must be what it feels like to other fans when we start hitting shots in the last min against teams way better than us

We have a team of role-players.

there is no "should"

We won. It is enough.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Now if LeBron was playing the Celtics , he d have 50 points and 25 rebounds and we'd be blown out by. 25 points.....

But when it comes to teams WE can beat Cavs goof off ...... ::)

Really relieved to see IT4 perform well again.
ET and Bass have become solid contributors after the all-star break.
Crowder was good too.
KO and Jerebko a bit of a disappointment tonight.

Bad news is Clips need desperately the win against us, or they end up with home disadvantage in the first round- Portland is leading its Division, so Clips have to catch up with Houston.

I second that, TP. Just the fact that were legit looking at a playoff birth and the fans think we "should" blow out a Knicks team that's not much worse than us is a testament to the job Stevens and Co. have done post all star break and just how much we've been overachieving this year.

Good to see IT back playing well. His ability on the P&R and to generate points via free throws even when his shot isn't falling is amazing. Having him on such a good contract is Danny's greatest heist this side of the Brooklyn trade.

I found it interesting someone mentioned Zarren said that the major FO guys all had to write their top three choices for the next coach when Doc left and all of them had Stevens on their lists. Shows why we should have faith in our franchise. I'm glad he's getting acclimated to the NBA without the pressure to contend and has this team making a leap in year two with this roster. With all our flexibility to fill out our roster with his kinda guys, I'm really excited about the future.

Enjoy the win. We have no business blowing out anybody.

I would be so happy if we could draft WCS or Winslow. Winslow especially seems to be cut from the same cloth as Smart.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Something weird has happened to me after seeing a few highlights of this game.

I think I'm having an "Andrea Bargnani would be a good player with the right coach" flashbacks again. And then I look at Brad Stevens and what he has done with this bunch of dudes. Don't do this to me... Please...

Anyways, good win. Is it safer for us to stay 8th and play ATL or should we gun for a higher seed and play either Chi-Town or CLeBron-land?
