Can KAT play PF?

At this point, I'd line him up next to Zeller if we can draft him.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Take a picture of this day, Zach Auguste. You have just became a 1st round draft prospect for this year's draft.

You don't go 20 points and 9 rebounds (so far) against Towns, WCS and Kentucky and not get noticed.

Too old. At best, he's a mid to late 2nd rd pick.

22 is too old?

When compared to other potential picks, that's ancient.

Not always.

Yeah he wasn't overly great to me- a lot of easy put backs and was completely lost on the defensive end at times. I think he might get taken in the 2nd round but I don't think he's an NBA caliber prospect yet.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

While Towns is undoubtedly a talented post scorer, he seems rather slow to me—definitely too slow to play PF. Someone on this thread mentioned that Towns has been compared to Aldridge, but I don't see the comparison—Towns doesn't seem to have the range of Aldridge, and definitely not the quickness.

And while I'm thinking of Kentucky: Cauley-Stein really does seem like another Tyson Chandler or DeAndre Jordan, meaning his defense is quite good but his offense is limited to dunks and putbacks. Getting Chandler or D. Jordan 2.0 would have its pluses, but I'm not sure I want a guy so offensively limited.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Sam Dekker seems to be the more sure-fire prospect than Frank Kaminsky at this point.

As for the game, Kentucky is having fits defending this Wisconsin spread.

I like Wisconsin, but man it would be great to see UK vs. Duke in the championship game. The top two big man prospects going against each other? Yeah, I'm down.
