WCS may have just saved Kentucky's undefeated record. Tremendous defensive play down the stretch.

Wow, what a game. That looked like it was going by Grant, too.

Kentucky will go undefeated this year. I think Notre Dame just gave them probably their biggest test, and they weathered the big storm.

Not sold on KAT or WCS being much impacts, at least right away.

I'd take either among the 1st several picks, but they won't get us to the playoffs by themselves, that's for sure.

Free Agency all the way for BOS, if we're trying to contend quickly.

Take a picture of this day, Zach Auguste. You have just became a 1st round draft prospect for this year's draft.

You don't go 20 points and 9 rebounds (so far) against Towns, WCS and Kentucky and not get noticed.

Too old. At best, he's a mid to late 2nd rd pick.

22 is too old?

Towns looks like he can eventually be a Tim Duncan type two-way player in the NBA. It will take some time and development, but he has immense potential. I like WCS, and though he won't get us to the playoffs by himself, he's definitely a big step in the right direction.

Kentucky squeezed by. Against a team like Wisconsin it will be tough

I like Towns motor, physical play, toughness

Good points.

I'd give KAT 2-3 years...he will definitely make some noise his first year....not Tim Duncan noise, but he'll be a presence down low for us, at least offensively.

WCS will need more work.

I'd be happy with either, though....probably KAT more than WCS.

The moral of the story is never let Aaron Harrison get the ball, lol.  I don't know if he's coming out this year, or if we could even get him, but talk about having the clutch gene.  The bigger the game and the bigger the moment, the better he plays.  Me likey, ahaha. ;D

Edit - make that Aaron Harrison, lol.  Oopsie.

I'd like to see how WCS and KAT handle Okafor, if they should meet.

When compared to other potential picks, that's ancient.

Definitely. I've also liked him more than Okafor even, and I'm surprised it took him most of the year to overtake Okafor in the mind's eye.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I was impressed by Lyles and Towns tonight.
Lyles' wingspan is enormous and his back to the basket game/footwork would translate well into the NBA. I liked his reaction to that shot off the backboard. Too bad he's not more of a defensive presence but he can be coached because of his excellent footwork and timing.

Grant was great for Notre Dame too- a Smart and Grant guard tandem would be nice to watch develop.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
