Recently I was accused of lying about a rumor I've hear in regard to the Celtics desire to acquire Kawhi Leonard and Demarcus Cousins.

I've heard that the Celtics want to sign Kawhi Leonard to a max contract this off season. I also heard that the celtics really want to trade for Demarcus Cousins this off season with Brandon Bass and a 2016 draft pick as possible trade pieces. Does anyone think this will happen?

Posters simply asked for a source.  If they accused you of lying, it was probably for including the "Bass + 2016 draft pick as possible trade pieces" part, since that offer doesn't make any sense.

What it looks like is that you combined two fairly weak rumors reported in the media, and then embellished them a bit.  It's not exactly the biggest sin, but I also understand why people would react poorly.

Anyway, this doesn't need its own thread.  Feel free to include the sources in the original thread.
