Rim defender, please. In this order: Cauley-Stein if possible, if not: Noel, Jordan, or Asik.

Really I think he still wants the max
Even though his stats and eye test in mavs don't say that

Agreed, with the cap the way it is we should be willing to pay top dollar for any target we have. Some people might complain that we are overpaying for someone but with the cap going up and nearly every team having cap space in the 2016 offseason if we don't use our cap space this offseason it will become less valuable.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Greg Monroe and draymond green
A post presence and an all around defensive force team leader.
Monroe is younger then m Gassol, runs the floor, is an above average passer and a load to contain on offense. Paired with a defensive force like dg her would be sitting pretty.
I saw green for first time on Sundays abc game. Was really impressed with his d, energy, leadership and surprising offensive skill set.
If he can't be had I'd look to Montrezel Harrell. His o doesn't compare at this point and probably never will but he's got the same defensive skill set.

Anyone who makes us better going forward and does not kill us cap wise.  I think if this team had a star it would help them a lot on the court.    It has to be the kind of star who can score in the clutch and get a basketball when we need one though.

Kahwi and Robin Lopez. Both are likely to remain with their current teams, but I like what they would both bring to the table on the Cs.

I would choose DeAndre over Lopez, but he will be too expensive so we wouldn't be able to afford the contract in addition to Kahwi (Lopez's next contract may also surprise some).

I suppose we could always try to trade for Cousins and sign Leonard or Butler. This would be ideal, but not totally realistic...not that any of these guys are...now I'm just rambling.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
2015 Celtics/2016 Nets/2018 Nets, 2016 Mavericks, and 2 2nd rounders, KO/IT/Bradley/Cap filler for Cousins/Bad contract like Jason Thompson.

Sign Draymond Green or shoot for Kawhi Leonard/Butler.

Smart
Young
Crowder or FA
Sully or FA
Cousins

I would like a team ideally of Smart, Young, Crowder or Harkless, Draymond Green, Cousins. I think that team has great defenders, and a multitude of hustle glue guys. Players WHO want to win. I think Smart and Cousins would be a great duo. Cousins may have gotten in a fight with Smart, but that's because their both emotionally competitive players. People didn't want to draft Smart originally due to his Oklahoma state scuffle with a fan, now a lot of fans are in love with him.

I'd start with Love. I figure if we are going to be a 3 pt shooting team we may as well get players that can hit them. On top of the fact I'm losing confidence in fat boy & softie!

Draft WCS. Shoot for the moon with Kevin Love (we weren't really that close this summer) and then in the probability that that whiffs you go for Monroe. Then you shoot the moon again for Durant in 2016..

As much as I want to be back next season, I don't want them spending money just because we have it. If no fireworks, just resign your own players to good money for 1 year deals, maybe with team options. And then try again next year.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I wouldn't put it past Danny, to trade for Kevin dUrant next season. I could see him trading 4 firsts, a couple seconds, Gerald Wallace expiring and Kelly or Sully and a Zeller or one of our young guys that start showing some potential aside from Smart.. Maybe young, maybe one of our picks this year.

and also Danny somehow pull of s trade for cousins as well. It sounds crazy but or assets are so loaded, I really think OKC is going to be forced to trade KD because they won't win it all this year and next year their going to be faced with losing KD for nothing.

You trade for cousins as well so KD will have a contending team and will def want to stay in Boston because of it.

Smart/ Thomas
Avery / young
Durant/ crowder
----/ ----
Cousins/ WCS

Or we can just think about this offseason more realistic.

Go hard at Gasol and Aldridge. Both players if they leave their respectable cities... Why would they not join up? Danny throws the pitch at them joining each other?

Smart/ Thomas
Avery/ young
---/ Crowder
Aldridge/ Kelly
Gasol/ WCS

Or we can go after Khawi and Jimmy Butler hard? Who probably would be less likely to leave their teams. But say Chicago ends poorly and Thibs leaves. Jimmy could easily leave.

Smart
Jimmy
Kid from Arizona
Sully
Center?

Idk man so much we can do this year up until next trade deadline... Going to very exciting from now until next Februaury.
