I guess Cousins is fourth on my list; Jordan, Noel, Monroe, Cousins. I do like Leonard and think if you can add one of my four plus Leonard, then you have something.

I am sure the Celtics want that. Nearly every other team wants it as well. Bass and a Pick for Cousins made me laugh. Not gonna happen and every max offer for Leonard is gonna be matched

DA hiring IT ....makes me think he won't go after Cousins ......unless he feels Boogie would be ok with IT off the bench and Smart running the floor show.

agreed, what is your source and please provide a link. also, OP, as a favor to readers, the present thread title sounds as if it is about to happen. what you are stating is at best a rumor, or someone talked about it. could you change the title to reflect that?

thanks.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Isn't Bass expiring?  People thought his contract was bad now, wait til they see it after he's been sign and traded for Cousins.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Don't trade for Cousins. Draft Cauley-Stein. Re-Sign Bass since you can't count on Sully to play a full, meaningful season.

I guess you could still go after Kawhi but let's not ruin a good thing with the rumored rift between IT and Cousins.

And I love the note, "unsourced rumors" by the way.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

I like Leonard he will get better and better.

I'm just not sure about Cousins, he's a talent for sure, but too emotional and unstable to be one of the main pieces on a winning team.

Just like every other team in the league. A lot of teams were also interested in signing Lebron last summer including the Celtics, but it didnt mean that all those teams who were interested in him actually had a realistic chance of getting him

Those guys are probably the two most likely to stay with their current teams. I'd love to have them too, especially Leonard; but we probably won't even get the chance to really make an offer on those two. I don't think signing Jordan, Butler or Monroe is "not trying."
