Would Danny give up a top 10 pick for Steven Adams?
I think OKC would ask for something like our 2015 pick+James Young as the bare minimum.

I think OKC would ask for the 2015 lottery pick AND Olynyk or one of the Brooklyn picks.

Would you give up a top 10 pick for Adams?
What about a top 5 pick?

What would Danny do/consider?

I'd give up the 13th pick (or higher) and Young for him.  Otherwise, he's good, but not that much of an improvement.  For instance, I'd rather have Myles Turner starting on a rookie salary next year, and he's probably going 10th.

If we have to give up KO and our top pick, I'd rather keep it. Just draft WCS
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I didnt like the options on the survey.

If the Cs end up with a pick outside of the top 8 I trade that pick and any two of the following 3 (KO, Young, clippers pick, Cs 2016 pick,) with out thinking twice.

For the poster who would rather have Turner. They are in different worlds physically. Adams is still only 21 7' with a very large frame. At the combine I believe he was 250lbs and I would guess he is now at least 260. At this size he is very athletic. Being 3-4 years away from his prime its easy to project him as a double-double 2+ block per game guy. Turner has a nice skill set and great length but will never be the physical presence that Adams already is.

is Adams a rim protector? even if he is he cant be that good at it or i would have to ask. i think the stuff it would take to get him would be more valuable as part of a package to trade up in the draft.

This. He'll end up being better than Adams anyways.

don't like any of the options.  c's pick is out of the question.

KO and a Philly Second.  yes.  maybe exhange the second for either Young or the clips first but that's my limit and I'd have to be convinced Adams has that much more of a ceiling than KO.  as an FYI, I think KO can be a decent big off the bench and I see Adams as a backup center right now.

Three 1sts for Adams? That seems pretty steep.

I'm actually Australian, I just think this guy is going to be a top 5 center within 5 years.
He's one of the strongest guys to enter the league since Shaq or Ben Wallace- I mean this guy is part islander/maori warrior and his wingspan is almost the same as DeAndre Jordan's, while is max vertical is 3 inches higher.

Offensive touch is still developing but he's just turned 21 and was playing 14.8 minutes a game last year!

To be honest I'm shocked and I think the poll results show how little of him most fans have actually watched/seen.

Well, glad to see the thread I started this morning got some conversation going.

If it was just the pick and nothing else but a throw in like a late 2nd I would do that.
But OKC is gonna want a player who fills a need and is in the same pay bracket Adams is. So I'd go with my original thought of fair value. Olynyk, 2015 LAC 1st, 2015 Or 2016 PHI 2nd.
That's fair for both sides I think.

Way overrating Adams value.  And why would OKC trade him if they feel he is a building block for the future?

Now if we could land Gobert, I would consider moving more assets.

Yeah you are overrating him big time.  I think he will be a career role player.  He fits the need of a bruiser type on a team with a couple of star players.
