Million dollar athleticism, 5 cent brain.
Wasn't it like 50 million dollar athleticism?

Always amazed that a guy who gets so many rebound for his career has had a consistent net negative impact on his team's rebounding. That's tough to do when you grab as many offensive boards as he used to.

McGee had the largest documented armspan of any current NBA player at 7 ft 6.5 in until the Nuggets drafted Rudy Gobert, with an armspan at 7 ft 8.5 in the 2013 NBA Draft.

So maybe Ainge was inspired after watching Gobert turn our team into frightened little boys last night.

Highly skeptical of this move. I don't like him as a player. He doesnt strike me as a smart player. BUT, I understand why the C's would make things move. He's  an extremely athletic 7 footer who has the potential to be a rim protector for you under a cheap no risk contract. Also, the C's have legit no one at center except for Zeller.

Agreed. McGee is not an idiot (at least, he hasn't been demonstrably dumber than the average 20 something) but he's definitely not the most instinctive basketball player I've ever seen.

I think McGee can benefit from Brad Stevens.

McGee better think of a new number, cause 34 is retired baby  :P

7ppg/7rpg/2 blks career playoff averages . Those are Gobert type numbers this year .  Just let him set picks for Isiah and role hard to the hoop on offense.

Woot!  Woot!

Finally . . .  a center!!

He may be a knucklehead, but if he can grow up a bit on the court, he's certainly got the size, the athleticism, and the skills.

I'm excited.
