If he opts out and can be "the man" on his team rather than play second fiddle to Lebron (like when he was the man in Minny), would he consider Boston?

I think he is going to enjoy the long run in the playoffs that he will get on LeBron's coat tails.  I cannot see what would make want to play for the Celtics unless we land some other star first.

It might depend on how much of an "inner Kobe Bryant" Lebron James has.

Maybe. But way too early to tell. If the Cavs make a deep run, and I expect they will, then why would Love opt out? I think folks need to remember that in 2016 there is going to be simply a huge, huge amount of money flowing around. I think the smart play for high end players, and like it or not, Love is one of them, is to wait until summer 2016. ie, don't opt out before then.
Celtics fan for life.

No....

Because .....now with all the new players .....

They are the favorite. In my eyes ....now ....

I hate it ...but I think unless injury jumps them .....Cavs are going to the finals and a banner

After last night's throttling by his team?

I'd say a resounding no.

why would he opt out of his contract? He will get paid 15 mil next year and then be a UFA in 2016 when the salary cap rises . Same with Hibbert, it makes no sense for them to opt out.

If Cleveland wins it all he will look foolish if he leaves Cleveland.  I think he might consider the Celtics if he trusts in Ainge and Stevens.  I think he would definitely prefer going somewhere where he is a level higher on the team totem pole than the 3rd level like he is now.

Super unlikely, but I'd love to have Kevin Love here.   I think Cavs are title frontrunners, though.

I doubt he's going anywhere. Winning is the cure-all.

If he does leave, he would be wise to go somewhere with a defensive C. Our lack of a defensive big will just expose his deficiencies all over again.

Think the time and effort put into getting Love to quit playing with LBJ and the contending Cavs would be better spent chasing a player who is on a lesser team (than the Cavs) and sees the move to Boston as a move forward. Not sure exactly who that should be but I expect there are easier targets than Love.
