Poor kid...

You'll be the poor one in a few months so enjoy the ztellar win ::)

Why are you even here?
TP

I dont get why tankers even watch the games honestly, I would rather not watch than root for my team to fail.

Edit: I suppose you could root for the players to play well but lose in tight games??

Idk please enlighten me. how does a tanker watch a C's game.

I personally use it as a coping device e.g. we get blown out by the cavs and everyone looks god-awful, well then I convince myself that thats one more ping pong ball and its not so bad. It makes each game a low stakes affair. I hope they win but if they lose its not the worst thing in the world.

agree in that I don't get the point of rooting for losses.  enjoy the wins.  the atmosphere here has changed so much from the pre-KG days where almost everybody was excited by a win and disappointed by a loss.

The kid must be really depressed today: Philly playing OT against OKC, even with Westbrook's 39 points. Even Hinkie is letting his followers-worshippers down.

Relax, hinkier, I think OKC wins this one.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

Honestly, even if you're pro tank, keep in mind that it's unlikely that we catch three of the Pacers, Nets, Hornets and Heat.  We're also not going to outtank at least 7-8 other teams no matter how hard we try.  There will be at least 2 West Coast teams with a better record than us in the lottery, too.  There are 12 legit prospects in the draft and maybe a couple more will rise during the Tourney.

At the same time, Marcus is going to get a lot of minutes for the rest of the season regardless of his play.  So basically, we either go on a miracle run into the playoffs and Marcus gets all the confidence in the world, or we get a legit prospect for next year while still giving Marcus a ton of experience.  Even if we make the playoffs, we might still end up with a good player at 15.  There is no downside to wins or losses right now!  It's all gravy no matter what.  There is no reason to be negative right now unless you're being delusionally optimistic about our team of cast offs and in that case, Celtics pride baby all day!

To answer my own question, 4 1-point wins this season and 2 1-point losses. Starting to get better in the clutch.

Is the box score right? Celts only 3 turnovers??? The NBA record is 2. Only ever done 3 times.

as i watched the video of the final plan, it struck me that CBS did a great job of drawing it up. and then smart and zeller executed it so well. until i saw the video i didnt know how the celtics had won the game. it was a designed play...great!

from ESPN:

Boston had a franchise-record low three turnovers.

Why are you even here?

Why are you?  Do I have to stroke a sub par teams fanbase to qualify?  This blog beats its chest about wanting to get in the playoffs yet the night before we got a reality check.  I enjoyed the win, I enjoy the team, but it's a band of role players that would be better served to have a decent lottery pick then back into the playoffs.  Say that around here and you might as well say you're a heat fan.  Sorry I'm not gonna fool myself into thinking that playoff experience means more than accumulating better assets.
