What a joke

We traded the Ice Capades for the best player ever.

Later, we fleeced a team out of the #1 pick then traded it for McHale and Parish.  I'll take that way over blind luck any day.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

What a joke

Lebron is physically the best player in the league. But not mentally. He will lose then run to team up with 3-4 great players and try to win another title
I agree

I actually meant to write "one of the best players of all time".  He's definitely one of the weakest (mentally) of the best players of all time

Just seems impossible odds to get that many firsts
The celtics have never had a first overall pick, right?

Crazy

well, i tuned in late and just logged in. quite the slaughter. could anyone let me know what happened... besides the celtics play was less than optimum and they met a really good team.

is this the type of experience some posters think the young celtics need in the playoffs? because this is very much what will happen in the playoffs.
Lebron made his shots and was very aggressive (started to show off like the fairweather player he is)

Cleve was allowed to play physical

They were way taller

We were crushed like bugs
I trust Danny Ainge

We played horrible across the board and they were mad when the game started because of the HOUSTON game and took it out on us.

we don't have a legit SF that can play good defense. we got demoralized pretty quick.

Yup.....this happens all the time at all levels    Teams loose an important game or get embarrassed , they many times play well next time .  Especially super stars .   I use to notice if Pierce had an off night with say 11 points , he 'd take it out on the next team and score 35 .
