I didn't see a forearm going anywhere near the face -- I saw a hand on Beverly's chest. And it certainly seemed like a good call.

In the initial contact, I see James' left forearm contacting the left side of Beverly's head and after they're down on the ground, James pushes Beverly down twice. Once with his left fist and then the second time with his left forearm.

Let's go Cs! can we see a LBJ vs MS match up?lol

Like to see multiple defenders on James. MS, Crowder, Bass. Bang him up a bit. Le king doesn't like being hit.
LeBron hasn't ever shyed away from contact. He'll whine about it a lot, but he doesn't stop going to the hoop.
Yeah, you're not going to stop LeBron by banging him around. Just make him take jump shots and hope he's not having one of those nights when everything goes in.

You guys are right. It is hard to out-physical James. Maybe that's why I really enjoyed the Rox win the other night vs the Cavs, because I think that James was truly rattled after his two separate  beefs with both Beverly and Harden. Heck, James was an uncharacteristic 3/11 at the line, I think including missing at least one technical FT, and missing two FTs with 4 sec left to win the game.

As usual, there were a lot of non-calls and biased calls for James that night, and I think that that often leads to frustration for his opponents.

One play (and call that easily could have gone the other way) that precipitated the altercation with Beverly involved James pushing a forearm into Beverly's face both on the way down and while he was down. You can see this especially well at about the 1:14 mark.

I'm sure that Beverly thought that he was at the spot, and maybe he was or wasn't, but at least Beverly and later Harden stood up for themselves (not that kicking james in the groin was defensible) after being frustrated by the lack of calls against James considering how he was fouling them.
For some reason bron is allowed to play football while the rest of the league plays basketball
I trust Danny Ainge

I may not like his face and he certainly pushed Bev down when over him but ehh, that's was nothing. I mean, that elbow had to hurt but if Bev was taller he would have been fine. You know that the offensive player gets the call if it's close, I see nothing wrong with that call. Leave LBJ alone (blegh).

We are going to win this one!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Bron's usually good for one chase-down block on us per game.  figuring AB will be that victim tonight

At least one. With Bradley it'll probably be 3. Bradley is addicted to getting his fastbreak layups blocked.

If Kyrie plays just don't see how we can pull this off. I'm sure we can maybe slow him down but then we have LeBron to deal with. Not to mention Love while we're thin on big men.

We almost beat them a few months ago with a worse roster (at least a roster that fit together worse).  Remember Rondo trying to go one-on-one with LeBron in the clutch and failing miserably?

I'm not saying it'll happen but I think we've got a good shot.

We really needed to get a win in either the GS game or Cleveland game to stay real competitive in the playoff race. We definitely can get a win tonight, but we'll have to play a pretty good game and shoot well. Honestly, I think we can contain Love and Irving, and Lebron will get his. It seems to always be some stupid player like JR Smith or TT that kills us. IT should come up huge against their second unit.

Not excited to listen to what's more than likely going to be a God-awful Cleveland broadcast all drooling over Lebron on NBA League Pass, though.
