yup. He needs to forget about the three or at least taking threes as his first shots. Dribble stop and pop instead

3 on Zeller. that's no good. We really need Sully.

<irrational optimism>
I hope he slims down and comes back next season stronger than before.

Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Really starting to worry about Marcus Smart Offense.

There have been times where he has looked decent as a shooter, and down right awful as a shooter. I think he is somewhere in the middle. He'll obviously never be a knock down, go-to guy by any means beyond the arc, but I think he'll improve to the point it is a weapon.

What concerns me is that he barely can get to the basket. I thought coming out of college he would have had better instincts getting into the paint and creating some offense that way and he has not shown it whatsoever. I think it has something to do with his speed, he just doesn't have enough to blow by guys. I'm surprised at how slow he is, to be honest, there is many times where he's been caught from behind on the fast break.

I wouldn't read too much into this game.  The Cavs are the best team in basketball with 3 all-stars and we have a mismatched, overachieving roster.  Smart just made 2 great heads up plays there - it's just his scoring that's a problem.  He's averaging double figures since the all-star break, I'm not worried.

I love the blind Boston enthusiasm about this team, but it doesn't mean it's all that realistic.  They're practically doubling our score right now.

this looks like us playing vs every team Lebron has ever played for. same effing crap! their dudes play with their hands all over our dudes or slap at players hands when they drive, so they become discouraged to drive(- hence all the jump shots). then on offense they all hold off the defender with the off-ball hand.

same effing crap! I'm so sick of the fake good Lebron's

I have some bad news everyone: if Boston don't start making 3s, we're gonna lose.

Ehh, we're a jump shooting team in general.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yeah, I'm definitely not ready to give up on him. He has so many intangibles that he brings to the game that most people don't. I'm just worried that he is going to turn into more of a Tony Allen (nothing against Tony, great career) than a Dwayne Wade.
