Bradley's defense is above average. He's one of the better one on one perimeter defenders in the NBA and has been for a few years now.

I think Smart being a defensive savant makes people forget how above average AB really is on D. But I know how much you dislike Smart, so who knows.

Yeah just go lock down Klay and Curry.  Easy to do.

I wonder if some of you even watch basketball.

I think this is a huge part of it. Smart did a hell of a job on Thompson tonight.

Yet another unnecessary and unfounded reactionary thread...

I suppose no one is happy unless Avery would have held the splash bro's to under 10 points.

They fought hard tonite.  That's one of the greatest backcourts in the NBA - one of the best I've ever seen and I've been watching NBA basketball since I was 10 years old in 1982.

The sun will still shine tomorrow.  We're still in this thing.  Avery will be fine...

i agree that bradley is underrated on the defensive end

hes a hustle defender and energizer for the team

but smart has all the tools to become an even better defender with his size and versatility with the hustle to match AB

When AB broke into the rotation his game was predicated on great cuts and high energy elite defense.

Since the KG/PP trade he has taken on a role of a scorer and he turned into a jumpshooter. The cuts stopped and he never seemed to impact the game defensively.

For me Avery has righted the ship in the last couple of weeks. He has been creating many more turnovers all over the floor and I thought that when he and Smart were on the floor they did quite well on the splash bros. THose guys hit some crazy tough shots.

I cant remember the last time Ive seen someone so lethal with the floater.

why because he couldn't stop Curry? The guy is the MVP frontrunner for a reason, cut AB some slack

Haha agreed.

The splash bros are almost unguardable cause they can pull up from anywhere even with a hand on their faces.

I was at the game. Smart/Bradley combo gave the Splash Bros fits. Eventually they were too good. Nothing to complain about, the team and its future look good.

He looks fine.  AB is a very good player for us.  2 very smart moves by Danny.  Drafting a player that couldn't shoot worth a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. then paying him to a very good contract that most C's fans thought was crazy.  great moves Danny!

His defense is fine (just not as visually impressive as Smart's) and he's made major strides since the all-star break.

He's frustrating because he's such a streaky shooter but at this point I think it's fair to say that he's preforming roughly at the value of his contract.

If you rave about the guys defense, than he should play it, even against the best, but obviously he gets passes i guess.

You guys act like he has been playing great defense this year.
