However, much of this success has been fool's gold. This team doesn't flat out blow but they are nowhere near a serious threat as a 7-8 seed, either.
I don't understand why this is "fool's gold." They are winning basketball games. That is real. It's fun. That's what I want.
Why do Boston fans have to pretend like they know better?

The winning is great. But, at the same time, I'm trying to keep things in perspective too. They're not beating the heavyweights of the NBA. Scheduling makes a difference. It was apparent going into the 2nd half of the season that the Celtics had one of the easier schedules remaining based on SoS.
Now if they knock off Golden State tomorrow or Cleveland later in the week, then I might looking at things a little differently.
This is a fun bunch. Lots of likable characters on this team. That being said, I also have tempered expectations this season.
