Back in the league, and back with Miami for yet another shot. Maybe he matured somewhat and can stick around this time, he certainly has a heck of a lot of talent, and is still young and athletic, and most importantly, healthy.

They desperately needed a big who can knock down a jump-shot.

It is a pity Beasley refuses to pass the ball. Miami already having ball movement problems in their starting lineup. That will probably relegate Beasley to a 15-20mpg backup PF slot. He really should be starting. He is the most talented PF on the team. He should be a 35mpg player.

i agree. he has always had tremendous talent. its his brain that let him down. not smart, makes bad personal choices, not focused on basketball.

but he has made a tidy sum of money over the course of his career, over $31,000,000. let's hope he didnt p--- or smoke it away.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, his on and off court decisions have been his major issue. Hopefully being banished to China for a year helped him grow up and appreciate the chance he has. We shall see, he's the 2nd or 3rd best player on the active Heat roster right now, if he has his act together he should have a great chance to prove himself.

It seemed to really be an indictment of Beasley last season in the playoffs when the Heat were absolutely desperate for scoring and barely gave Beasley any time. I think this signing speaks more about the state of the Heat than anything else. For what it is worth they have been starting Bill walker (now called Henry).
