Rondo is averaging 6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.8 steals in 24.5mpg over his last 13 games.  He's cracked double-digit assists twice in the 25 games he's played for the Mavs.

Good news is he's managed to make 3 free throws in his last 19 games.

Those numbers are appalling..what on earth has happened to Rondo, he has been abysmal post trade ..he is definitely not getting the max this summer..heck his play and stats says he is atmost a midlevel guy..he should check himself and better turn it around or he may be out of a job in 2 years.

Rondo always said he hated change. Maybe getting out of Boston was the worst thing for him. I will admit i never wanted to see Rondo go. But with his trade brought new faces and opportunity. Now i see this happen and i'm glad this didn't happen with Brad. Also reading those numbers for rondo is quite amazing. I mean very bad play, but the thing with him when everyone counts him out he does better.

The trade was the best thing for this team. I can admit that now though.

From the games that I've watched this year of the Mavs, I can simply conclude that Rondo doesn't fit in. Rondo can't be effective if he doesn't have the ball in his hands, and playing with Monta Ellis isn't helping his cause at all. And based on the incident from the last games it doesn't even seem like he gets to decide the plays during the game. It's a shame how Rondo has ended up. I'd like to have him back for cheap, but he will likely go to a **** team that's going to overpay him in the summer.

Man we got such a great pick for him, too.  What isn't listed in basically any article on the trade is that the pick was 15-30 protected this year, then it rolls to next year where it's only top 7 protected.  The following players are expiring or have player options for next year:

Tyson Chandler
Rondo
Monte Ellis (player option)
Raymond Felotn (player option)
Jefferson
Villaneuva
JJ Barea
Bernard James
Aminu
Ricky Ledo
Amare

So basically their entire team.  They have Parsons, Dirk, Devin Harris and someone named Gal Mekel.  That's their whole team next year.  Nothing is guaranteed but I like that pick a lot more than the Clippers pick we have now

So much for it being just an ordinary on-court argument.

I'm not sure how much Rondo cares about money of if it's an ego thing but if he wanted max money, he's done just about everything wrong.

Say what you want about Carmello but he balled out last season, got his mega-max deal and can now figure out what comes next.
