Welp, here we go...Rondo and Carlisle going at each other

I think Rondo is down to his last quarter in Dallas.  They have been patient with him and of course still want him to be the Rondo they thought they were getting.  They have been letting him work through his funk or slump or whatever it is.  This insubordination by Rondo towards the coach is a different type of thing.

I don't see how this can end well at this point.  Rondo will likely continue to struggle on the court, at least in the immediate term, which I am sure frustrates him.  This frustration is not going to help him be more coachable or accepting of a role on the team that is different than he wants.

Disagreeing about a play call caused him to bark at this coach.  What happens if the coach says stop dribbling so much and we aren't going to play you in the fourth quarter until you start making free throws?
