Anyone worried about him playing "Hero" basketball?

Alienate the teammates maybe?

Compared to an average player, yes. But he's 5'8, and you need to be ultra aggressive to survive as a short player. I actually think Thomas is kind of passive for such a short guy (compared to say Nate Robinson or Spud Webb). He seems very fundamental. Admittedly, I haven't seen full games yet, but his highlights are all sound basketball decisions. He shows above average confidence in his shot, but it goes in at a good rate, and, on this team, we need someone to look shot first sometimes. And what everyone else said- he passed well in Phoenix (making the fundamental decision yet again to pass quickly out of a double).

...... in the Suns game he was passing and as he was getting doubled and he was passing very willingly and well.

I think to survive in the league as a 5' 7" player you have to have a very aggressive and confident attitude and I think he shows that.   One thing that has been pleasing to me is how physical he is on defense and it really helps him make up for his size.  He uses his hands and body a lot off the ball.

+1...Agree....and defensively, he moves his feet well and anticipates REAL well.

haha yeah. The cold will toughen him up even more lol

We haven't had a player like IT since Paul Pierce.   I still think RM did Danny a favour.  Maybe he was going to trade IT all along, but didn't bother to deal with any other teams than the Celts.  Thornton and a late 2016 1st for IT is a robbery

You can be HERO when surrounded by Zeros

Wow...was not expecting that...that definitely left a mark.   :o

I think the "zeros" will be getting better though.

Is Thomas shrinking before our eyes?  He is listed at 5'9 but one poster has him at 5'8 and the next poster has him at 5'7.

He is prob 5'7 without shoes lol. Only 6'0 wingspan. But those circus mini hooks are awesome.

The big players are prob like how did he do that against my 7'4 wingspan
