At 5'9 Thomas is already showing he's the best offensive player on this team. Just creating his own offense

You play small ball, you better outscore everyone. Because its layup fest on defense.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I know it's versus the Lakers but I'm impressed with IT thus far.

If IT had gone back to Smart, instead of looking for his layup, that could have been a sick play.

I hope they develop some chemistry together. Smart was wide open at 3.
I know a lot of people are oohing and aahing over Thomas but I'm not enamored with his D or passing.  definitely better handles than either Turner or Smart but I'm seeing a 5'9" SG on the floor
i agree. but he will be an outstanding 6th man. with his offense he will score alot against other teams' backups. plus, i think his passing will get better when he actually knows some plays.  ::)

Yeah but he's a 5'9" shooting guard that is the team's leading scorer and making positive contributions knowing none of the plays and having played with none of his teammates before, even in a practice. That, and he's a new face to make our old lovable losing team more exciting!

Nah, I mostly like his insight. He's not an incredible color commentator, but I like him more than Tommy at this point for sure. (Sorry Mr. Heinsohn)

Can we give the guy 2 qtrs with his new team before peeing on the parade??
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Talks too much. Tries too hard to be cool. Adds nothing
