I think he is just way to good of a fit obviously, especially if Thomas is gonna be starting I would love to have him to anchor our defense. Brad will work wonders with this team if we have even a semblance of a presence down low defensivly. Then we are just a high level talent away at small forward to really start making a dent in the east. Thomas-Smart-??Lebron??lol-Sullinger/KO-WCS

BPA no matter what. If Danny thinks Oubre or Porzingis is better, then draft them.  Drafting for need I'd a fool's errand

No that good on offense, not a very high ceiling. And I don't even know if he really wants to play professional basketball.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

If our coaching staff thinks WCS is the pick then I'll be the first to welcome him, Caulie Stein really has exactly what we lack on paper. In reality though that we are developing a competitive culture that I'm not sure he'd fit into.

If he's the pick it means he turned the corner and is on board with becoming a professional. If not I don't see Danny upsetting the culture and he'll pick a player with greater drive.

More and more I'm thinking BPA (and hoping that BPA is a 3, 4 or 5).  If we're at 9, which is where we are now, I don't think WCS is going to be around, anyway.

Are you talking about Larry Sanders?

Has he has some character flag issue that popped up and I missed or something? A lot of people seem to bring up his character issues but I've never seen anything other than him being a good team guy and playing hard.

Best player available is usually the right course of action.

I'm high on WCS if we're picking 10th or worse. Not convinced that he's good value in the single digits, though. Porzingis I think is a better prospect in a similar mold. He's more of a 4/5 than a 5 but he has the frame to add weight, and he has a lot more upside

Depends when we pick. I think after the 5th pick WCS becomes the BPA.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think when Ainge picks, it will be Looney or Oubre.

If the C's can pick up Willie Cauley-Stein any time after pick #5 then you gotta take him. He is the best defensive player on the board at that point and has an upside of better than Marcus Camby as a pro. He has a couple of DPOY awards already won, IMHO. After Okafor, Towns, Johnson and Mudiay I think he has to be BPA.

If johnson, winslow, or mario are available I think you take them. I think you take WCS before Oubre and others though.

I haven't heard of any character issues and i follow kentucky fairly closely, although he has been categorized as someone who has interests outside of bball and isn't a huge gym rat.

Assuming we are picking #8 or so, I'm fine with that as the pick. Obviously if we are at the top of the lottery, I'd prefer Towns or Okafur.
Celtics fan for life.
