I'm jealous that Philly is getting a first round pick for taking on McGee's contract.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

It's done per Woj.

Quote
Denver has agreed to send JaVale McGee to Philadelphia, along with a first-round pick via OKC, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

LOL. Hinkie can use spare parts from McGee to maintain Embiid and Noel.

Why would the Sixers take McGee? They already have Noel and Embiid who are both better and cheaper.

Time to step up and get either Noel or Embid from them....

I would be happy to take McGee for a 1st round pick. Only one year left on his contract. I don't think Boston will be much of an attraction to FAs this summer. Not enough star talent on roster to convince other stars to join.

They know that size is at a premium, so they stockpiling 7fters.

Because they're below the salary floor and are getting a 1st for their trouble.

Wouldn't surprise me if McGee played very little for them.  Heck, they might be able to flip him this offseason for another pick.

I'm starting to believe that too. That's what danny was banking on, but it might not happen. We might have middle of road talent. which in NBA terms is NBA purgatory - not good enough to win and not bad enough to tank.

Heck, they might even stretch him.

If Boston can't get any free agents this summer, options to take on salary for picks and players will still be there then.
