All you have to do is offer more than he is worth.

Trade Idea:

Celtics Receive: PG Isaiah Thomas, C Greig Stiemsma

Suns Receive: PF Brandon Bass, Clippers 2015 1st Rounder (Via Celtics), C Lucas Nogueira

Raptors Receive: PF David West, SF Solomon Hill

Pacers Receive: SG Landry Fields, SF Terrence Ross, C Miles Plumlee

I understand its just an "idea" but realistically trades like this don't happen in the NBA or any sport for that matter. As far as this trade tho the pacers would want more. Decent trade for the C's but would make more sense if you cut Indiana and TOR out of it

A Sherrod:

http://www.csnne.com/boston-celtics/celtics-ready-pounce-if-suns-deal-isaiah-thomas

"If Suns management decides to unload Thomas, the Celtics will be among the teams to look closely at swinging a deal for the 5-foot-9 guard, a league source told CSNNE.com on Tuesday."

Without considering the bona fides of the source or the exchange rate, I think there's a decent chance he gets moved before the deadline.

All you have to do is offer more than he is worth.

Not necessarily. They've already said they need to get some size and have too many guards, and they want to resign Dragic.

So they need to dump a guard who the odd man out would be Thomas, get a big that can run, score and rebound, and free up cap space for Dragic.

Bass fits the need for the payer that they need, and free's up cap space this summer for Dragic and to get an other big if Bass wants to much to resign, and we have some late first rounds or second rounds that we could pass up.

PHX is in the NEED, and Boston doesn't have to do anything this season. Yeah, maybe get better at the PG spot, but if no upgrade, we have a rough March ahead, and we could climb in the lotto. No need to over pay for Thomas, if some one else is dumb enough, let them.

Never mind, just read Dragic wants out, so they may want to keep Thomas, or maybe Turner would work better for them.

Dang NBA deadline week, everything gets flipped every 20 seconds!

Idea:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=md2q7mq

Lakers Acquire: G Goran Dragic, C Kelly Olynyk

Celtics Acquire: PG Isaiah Thomas, C Miles Plumlee, SG Wayne Ellington

Suns Acquire: C Jordan Hill, G Avery Bradley, Timberwolves 2016 First Rounder (likely two Seconds) (via BOS) Cavaliers 2016 First Rounder (via BOS), Rockets 2015 First Rounder (via LAL)

This trade probably needs touch ups. Give kind suggestions.

it would be a super-dumb decision to give up 2 firsts for thomas
