Please note this is not super analytic or trade machined, but I think we have the right T/E + picks + players to move for these guys, whatever the combo is.

1. Trade for Dragic.  Send a first rounder + any player (think thorton/turner/prince/etc) +/or whatever other picks (future first, some seconds?).

2. Trade for Cousins.  Is he disgruntled?  Do the Kings want to move him (doubt it)?  Send multiple first round picks + Sullinger + whoever to get this done.

3, Trade for KG.  Not sure what he is worth these days, but if the Nets go fire sale, let's send a future first or some seconds, whatever the value is.

So what do we have now?

- Some improved scoring down low with a legit rim protector.
- Improved scoring from the outside.
- Sorely needed veteran leadership for a super young/inexperienced team.

Yeah, Cousins is likely not going anywhere, but what are you thoughts on something like this team?

Smart/Turner
Bradley/Thorton/Young
Dragic/Crowder/Olynyk
Bass/Garnett
Cousins/Zeller

(substitute some guys depending on the trade pieces)

Hardest part would be getting Cousins.  I don't think he's getting moved.  It makes more sense for them to see how George Karl impacts the team.

We could probably trade the Rondo trade exception for KG.  Would save the Nets money.  If we are "going for it", I'd totally be on board with bringing back KG to retire.

Skip the Dragic trade, he can't be a SF especially with already an undersized AB. KO can't play SF, not for good stretches, to slow on D.

We could just wait till next year for KG. So now we just have to pile our assets into Cousins, and make a good pitch to Butler.

You are not building a playoff team with Dragic as your fulltime SF.  It's just not happening for the same reason you're not building a playoff team pushing Marcin Gortat to SF.

There is NO WAY Cousins is getting traded unless the Kings are overwhelmed.  This trade does't do that.  You don't trade a young top 5 center in the league for that....
