You know what? I wanted the Celtics to draft him somehow back in 2012. I thought he was a tough customer and would have been a good get.
But then I had not really heard much about him since then...buried in the swamps of Orlando, I guess.
But I'm not sure if I would give up on Crowder either. I like him too.
I like crowder too, but I think Harkless has more upside because of age and athleticism, but I just found out that Crowder for him wouldn't work financially. So maybe Turner for him and Nicholson
Crowder for Harkless would work financially. The C's just have to use the Austin Rivers trade exception to absorb his salary.
However, I like the energy Crowder brings off the bench. I'd like to hold on to him. I would gladly be willing to invest up to any 2 non-Philly second rounders for Harkless.
I think now that Vaughn is out in Orlando, that they will wait before giving up on any young pieces until the next guy comes in. Just because JV didn't apparently see any use of him doesn't mean that the next guy won't.
