A question about the potential impact of one of the celtics future draft picks, with the new TV deal in place and the speculation of a potential strike after the 2016-17 season , if worst came to worst and the 2017-18 season was whipped out due to this, how would the 2018 draft order take place?
Knowing that the Celtics own the Nets pick is this something of any interest?

really good question and i have no idea. the NBA has never missed a full season before so there is no precedent. minor point thought, both sides have the option to opt out of the CBA at that time, or at least i think that's when the opt out is, so it wouldn't exactly be a lockout or a strike.

Hopefully it doesn't come to missing an entire season , one would hope that they would use the 2016-17 season records if it did and the Nets have fully bottomed out by then , something like 15-67   ;D

If a season was wiped out by a labor situation, how to handle the draft would probably be subject to negotiations as part of a new CBA.
