I am a long time Celtics fan from Australia
I started following the Celtics in the late 80's when I first saw Larry Bird play on TV on one our local broadcast stations, I sadly missed watching live the 3 championships of the Big 3 era.
I went on holidays to the USA in 92 and 93 and saw 4 boston homes games in 92 against Golden St, Washington,Atlanta and Detroit, so I got to see Larry Bird and Kevin McHale & Robert Parish play live and in person.
In 93 I went to see Boston play in LA against the Lakers, In Portland against the Blazers, in Denver against the Nuggets ,and against Golden St, I also travelled to Boston and saw them play 3 home games, I was fortunate that out of the 12 games I saw the Celtics won 11 , there only loss was to Charles Barkley and the Suns in 93.
I found a great website and bought over 250 old celtics games on dvd from the eighties and nineties to catch up on those great years.
I have full confidence that Danny Ainge will get the Celtics back into championship contention again in the next few years.
I have been lurking around reading these forums since 2006 so I have seen the frustration of rebuilding on many fans posts before.
