Reggie is a great dog name.
Or Lewis would work too.
If you want really obscure I would go with Fernsten.
Whatever way you go you should make sure to follow-up and let us know.

My Yorkie is named Rocky...I have decided to rename him Shamrock, but will still call him Rocky. When training him, "lie down" and "roll over" have taken on a whole new meaning..."play dead" has not come up yet...

I have heard that dogs respond better to names with two syllables. Though I'm not sure if that's a fact or not.
So maybe something like

Whoever threw out the Hondo one, I'm on board with that. Great name for a dog.

I think that Walter is a great name.
If you are a fan of The Big Lebowski there's another layer there.
