cornbread

Or

The Truth (it would have to be a pretty solid dog to pull that off though 😀).

If it's a rescue dog, Lucky always fits

hondo is probably the best

lucky is also a good one but people may not get the reference to our mascot and assume it is just the generic dog name

Larry - that was my first dogs name.

I am a big fan of people names for dogs, he is a member of the family after all!

Trade Exception

... Over the years I've had cats named Legend, Chief, Hondo, Truth...

We try to stick with the Celtic theme, but my dad currently has a fat black cat he named Sir Charles.

Name him CelticsBlog and just call him CB. Better Than The Lakers is always good. LOL JK

I would go with something that most people would recognize it off top as a Celtics name. Larry Bird is fine but don't just use the first or last name. Hondo is a good name but you would have to explain it.

I don't know, I hope someone comes up with something good so I can use (steal) it too. ;)
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'd go with Satch (Sully's dad) or Vitaly

Cousy, Hondo, Satch. Or Red!

Or... Toine  8)
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

Yep, basic but solid and gets the point across.
