1st trade
why do the celtics trade for jackson when we can sign him outright in free agency without losing a pick
also okc would not want to trade roberson as he is valuable defensively for them

2nd trade
i dont see the blazers trading away leonard he seems like a piece for their future they are developing
also i dont really see them trading for bass and thornton
thornton has a really large contract that it is hard to make the salaries work between the teams
bass is a lesser version of lamarcus which they would be paying close to 7 mil to back up behind him where he will probs get less than 20 mins a night

1st trade
Because if some other team trades for Jackson, they may have the upper hand in keeping him. Players get used to system, coaches, players even though money is also important.  Jackson primary need right now is to be assured he will be the starting pg of a team. Or at least starting. Celtics likely can assure him of this as long as he keeps his end of the bargain to play hard and help the team get into the playoffs

- Roberson is not a player OKC will fuss over losing.

2nd trade
Blazers are slowly losing it. They have lost 2 straight now. Yesterday to a not great bucks team.
They could use guys like Bass and Thornton to boost their lineup for the playoffs. The lineup they have now maybe gets by the 1st round, but that's likely it.  In order to not temp Aldrige to jump ship, its best for the Blazers to add key vets to help the team go further in the playoffs

i Don't see us trading for Jackson since he will be a free agent. Lenoard would be a good pickup.

I agree with BornReady that the first trade is not reasonable, additionally why would Jackson agree to resign only months from free agency unless the Celts are overpaying financially?
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12
