They won yesterday vs OKC and have been on a mini roll.

Okc didnt have durant but still. Knicks lineup working better as a unit after the trade and picking up a no name galloway.

Lance Thomas has been good. I like Thomas  and was hoping Danny could get him somehow.

Good job by Jackson

Sadly, they are still in '6er land with wins  (9) and will never catch up to us.

The other bad news is that an OKC loss lessens our chances of them catching the Clips/Mavs.

I got last minute tix and went to this game, actually. Surprised at seeing die hard Knicks fans really pulling for the win. This was entertaining to see.

Perk got so swatted by Cole Aldrich, it was sad. He came back with a monster dunk, but then his slow hops were on display again later in the game.

Westbrook was a beast.

Jason Smith was getting tons of run for NYK. What's up with that? The Knicks are not trying to win rolling out Smith, Aldrich and the rest of these guys. I think they just had a good night.

Meh....no biggy

If the Celtics traded everybody ....and lost every game for the rest of the season .....

Celtics still can not catch the worst team......because those teams tanked from the word go ........and they will never WIN enough games to catch the celtics in Wins.

If you want TO TaNK for a top three pick ......then you have to do it EARLY .....as too many teams are are giving up from day one of the season for a lottery shot.

If all these teams truely tried to win ....like they are supposed to ......the celtics would be right in the thick of the sweepstakes.

So .....there is no way Celtics will ever get a top three pick .....Danny won't wipe the slate clean .....then there is no use tanking fans gripping about it .   It's apparently not the way DA sees the rebuild process.

This, there is definitely a better chance that the clips/mavs fall 3 games out of the playoff race than the knicks catching us.

Yup......a Dirk injury is way more likely .   If he isn't on the court pouring in jumpers ...Mavs aren't contending out West.   That team is truely on pins and needles with himas there main weapon.  Like driving a car with a 20 year old fan belt .....it's ready to give up,any minute ..LOL

I would say only Philly went down the path you're advocating.

Minny made the best of a bad situation with Love and got the last 2 #1 draft picks plus more.  They also weren't counting on Pek and Rubio being out for so long.  Martin is a walking injury but they figured he'd have played more this year.  this was not the tanking method you're advocating.

NY would never tank with Carmelo.  what would be the point?  Melo is a win-now type of player, not someone who's talents you waste on a horrible team.  they started with JR Smith and Shumpert who are win-now players.  this was not the tanking method you're advocating.

the C's will have more wins than those teams but the worst team in the league has only won the lottery 3 times.  Cleveland won last year with the 9th worst record.  having the worst (or one of the worst) records is no guarantee of winning the lottery.  that's the point -- there is no sure way to get the top pick.
