Just to be fair, let's not just look at Dawkins weaknesses from NBADraftNet.  Let's look at Dawkins strengths as well.

Strengths: A knockdown 3-point shooter with adequate size at about 6’5 206 … Not going to miss many open shots … Phenomenal shot when he has his feet set … One of those few shooters that can absolutely wow you just in warm ups, with his outside shooting ability ... Very fundamentally sound form, shows a compact and quick release, and can hit shots when contested … Clutch. Can make important shots … Generally stays within himself offensively and is valuable when dribble penetration forces the defense to help off him, leaving him space to shoot off kick outs … Strong … Pretty smart player and generally does things the textbook way … Decent defender … Not really a slasher, but when he does drive he usually is efficient and knows he has a way to the hoop …

Shooting vs. being average in all other areas of the game.   Thanks for making my point, Greenback.  I would wager that was not your intent.

late bloomer.  Played behind some guys while at Duke and also faced some adversity there.  Didn't get much of a look because he was consider a 1 trick pony.

Looks like he's really worked on his game.  Has 1 premium skill-set (3pt shooting/FT shooting) which in the NBA can score you a job.  Danny scooped him up and I think he'll get a multiple year non-guaranteed deal from Boston.  He'll get called up after Thornton and/or Prince gets dealt.

Yep--that about sums it up.

Celtics4ever, the only wager that seems to make sense is Blaise Pascal's.

Miami's Whiteside has come from nowhere.

The Celtics could use a "phenomenal shooter who can absolutely wow you", no?

Peace and love.

He could be an Eddie House/Steve Kerr  type of player, and there is nothing wrong with having one of those coming off the bench.

It could definitely happen, here is to hoping your right.   But I think it happens less than many in this thread.

Peace to you.
