Wow!  I don't know if I've ever seen an exhibition like that.

Wow, I just watched all of his makes in that quarter here:

http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015/1/24/7880983/watch-every-shot-of-klay-thompsons-record-breaking-37-point-quarter

Alot of those weren't open shots either. He legitimately made 37 points from difficult shots. WOW.

Have you forgotten this performance from last season?

I don't believe Dr J.  or MJ.  Had a quarter that big .     If Dr J did ...it was in the ABA.

Unreal. He probably could have sunk one from half court during that streak.

This is so incredible. It was also magical to see as it happens. What made me love it more was everybody on that squad took a back seat knowing that he was white hot.

Magical.

And thus, fans around the nba see why the warriors refused to trade Thompson for Love.  And why the twolves preferred a Thompson package to anything from Cleveland.

Watched it live last night, it was pretty incredible. Worth watching the whole quarter if you have league pass, it just keeps building and building until it becomes clear he can't miss. Tied one minute, up 20+ the next, all Klay. Never seen anything quite like that before.

Amazing shooting display.

The only color that matters is GREEN

What's amazing is his team wasn't really even looking for him until under the 6 minute mark, he barely touched the ball in the  first few minutes.

29 of his points came in a 6 minute span (6:04 to 0:04.9).

In the final 2 minutes of the 3Q, he's basically playing 1 on 5,  nobody on GS is doing anything or looking for the ball other than to try to set Klay up (so maybe it's more like 2 on 5  ;)).

Another funny note, Draymond Green takes and misses a 3 about 30 seconds into the 3Q on the Warriors first possession of the half.  One of the Warriors announcers says:  "And I think the issue is too many 3's..." and the other says "oh I agree."  (The Warriors had missed 9 straight 3's until Klay hit his first of the quarter.)

Ok now I need to re-watch this 3Q with the Kings announce team and hear what they're saying.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Great game by Klay.

But I just get the feeling that this team's success in the regular season won't translate well into the post-season.

MEM, DAL and the Spurs...one of these teams is coming out of the West. They are too bruising for GSW.

I think it will translate well. Their defensive integrity is very good.

Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut is one of the best PF-C defensive combos in the league. Size, athleticism and solid defensive across perimeter starters with one of the best defensive wings in the game in Iggy off the bench. Ezeli as option as a backup C to retain interior defense when Bogut needs a break in playoffs.

Offense is much better with Draymond Green than David Lee. Green can properly space the floor. Offense would get cluttered with Lee and Bogut both wanting to be inside 15 feet. Green creates more room for people to operate. Harder for opposing team's defenses to hone in on GSW's offensive threats now.

We'll see.

I'm not sure that the same team that was bounced by the Clips last year are not much better than last year.

Playoffs are a different format...smaller rotations and the game is slowed down considerably.
