Really?  Really?!  What about that pesky little one-year transfer ban that Barca are
constrained under?  Not possible for Messi to go anywhere before next January 1st.
At this rate, he will probably be dying to go to Chelsea or Man City (Bayern?) by the
time the ban is over.

I reckon this was just a cow pie rumor meant to boost circulation. Nobody can afford Messi without seriously violating UEFA's financial fair play regulations.
