Rotation for celtics

Jackson/Smart/Pressey
Bradley/Smart/Young
Crowder/Young
KO/Mcgary/Collison
Perkins/Zeller/

I think this is a way better rotation than our current assembly of players. We will Defintly still be tanking though. What do you guys think?

You would be basically giving Sullinger for Jackson? I like this trade as it would fill a need for both teams and Mcgary would be a great fit with KO.

Last but not least we get OLE PERK back for his farewell tour in Boston!! Or a buyout either or.

I would rather give up some picks, giving up young talent for young talent makes no sense for us right now.
And remember, Sully is still younger than KO.

I say no.

Way too much to give up. We get Jackson and a platter of garbage.

Jackson hasn't proven anything, and he is exactly what we do NOT need. I really don't get the fascination with him around here. I get that he went to BC, but still... he can't shoot and doesn't have a real position. The last thing we need is another guard unless it's a top 5 pick in the draft that is can't miss.

pretty much this.

Jackson's not worth 3 starting-quality players.  granted they wouldn't be starting on a really good team but they're good enough to start here.
Jackson's not a star player (yet if ever).  no interest in anyone else coming back to the C's.

the only team that really benefited from this trade is OKC. What else are we getting back besides the players?

expiring contracts and picks?

tough for the Cs to trade sully and get in return a scoring PG do for a huge pay day, an injury prone young PF and expiring deals.

i don't think OKC would create that much bench turnover in the middle of the season.
Losing 6 players from a playoff team?

I think everyone says yes, except the celts. We are getting hosed.   I love Reggie Jackson but we are getting nothing else unless there are 2-3 picks that we are getting somewhere as well.  Trade Machine says no too....LOL

OKC not trading Jackson in a playoff chase. Better to keep him and do a S&T in offseason to score a pick and TPE. All those solid rotation guys for 3 streaky players too, no way.

C's like Smart at the PG spot. They prefer to keep him there despite people's complaints of how he, as a rookie has been at that spot.
