buying him out more than likely. 

A protected 1st (or a couple 2nds more likely) for Green is solid return.   This is a fantastic day for our long-term future.

Jebus , we have way to many picks . Danny has to trade some of them in the off-season , hopefully for a big time player . Would have to combine it with our own high pick this year though to get anything worthwhile .

I hope that Danny sends him to a contender...Jeff Green would fit well with either the Clips or MEM.

He can score, defend well, is long for a SF and plays well with an established structure (see Rondo).

He was having his best year yet, with Rondo at the helm.

He doesn't deserve to be in Green much longer, being that our Fire Sale is in full effect. Send him somewhere better.
