Hearing that the Jeff Green-to-Memphis trade talks are heating up. Discussions between the Celts and Grizz, I'm told, getting more serious

Still hurdles to clear, I'm told, for Boston to consummate Jeff Green deal. But Grizz, at present, are most serious suitor for Celts forward

Wish Memphis had better assets we have to hope a 3rd team is involved. Also hoping this happens tonight and makes room for J Young to be active.

I'm guessing some combination of Jordan Adams or a pick.

Memphis can offer picks and expirings, which are the assets Ainge is seeking.

Zach Lowe tweeted this right after the Mosgov trade...

Aside to @ESPNSteinLine report on MEM/Green: Cavs/Bos/MEM had talked re 3-teamer that would have sent JG to MEM, Koufos to CLE, picks to BOS

Edit: and just tweeted this a couple minutes ago...

yes RT @HerringtonNBA: Educated guess is Jeff Green deal to Griz has slightly better than even odds of happening.

either would be fine with me, but the pick is probably more fungible.

i think adams would be a good rotation guard. that is nice, but not hard to get. first round picks are harder to get it seems.

and let's face facts, green can - and probably will - opt of out his contract after this season. so he, like rondo and wright, is a rental. that hurts the return in trades.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Why doesn't Pistons come into play? Their pick this year lottery protected, and Jerebko and or someone else should work.

i wonder who will be the main scorer for the celtics if this happens? maybe olly will become assertive and put on his superman cape.

ok, where is greek666 with images of olly with a cape?

It would already be done if that was the price.

I'm assuming Ainge values Green more than you.
