Cut by the Jazz. Almost certainly a better NBA prospect than Pressey. Pick him up on waivers?

He's not really intriguing for the Celtics.  I watched him while he was a Knick, he's not considerably better than Pressey.

Well, he has excellent defensive potential. And he's a pretty capable scorer. I believe he could be a meaningful 2nd unit guy in years to come. Pressey doesn't have that potential, IMO.

Sure. Hardly unusual. We just cut Vitor (who made 4 times as much) -- why not Pressey?
